These independent\nrepair stations are recognized for providing the highest-quality propeller\noverhaul and repair work available on Hartzell propellers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/txairprop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Texas Aircraft Propeller &amp; Accessories<\/a> is one of these fine prop shops supporting Hartzell\u2019s customer base in the southern United States. We had the chance to speak with Texas Aircraft Propeller &amp; Accessories Owner &amp; President, Jason Falzon, about the shop\u2019s history and plans for the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hartzellprop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Texas-Aircraft-Propeller.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20729\" width=\"310\" height=\"258\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hartzellprop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Texas-Aircraft-Propeller.png 360w, https:\/\/hartzellprop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Texas-Aircraft-Propeller-300x250.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 310px) 100vw, 310px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Falzon\nsays he\u2019s \u201calways been crazy about airplanes and all things aviation.\u201d He\nearned his pilot\u2019s license at age 21 and eventually became an instrument-rated\ncommercial pilot with single and multi-engine privileges. When an opportunity\narose for him to work in the aviation community full-time and join a local prop\nshop, he took advantage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While\nworking at the shop, then called R&amp;D Propeller Services, Falzon learned\neverything he could about the business from the inside out. Soon, a passion for\npropellers was born. In 2014, he bought the company and changed its name to\nTexas Aircraft Propeller &amp; Accessories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nrebranding effort included moving the shop to Pearland Regional Airport (KLVJ)\nand building a modern, state-of-the-art facility. Recently, the shop added in-house shot-peening and received\napproval for Hartzell\u2019s composite blade overhauls.
