We found this great little essay the other day while visiting the forums at jetcareers.com<\/a>. It details the life of a pilot\u2019s as seen through the 3rd grade essay of an eight-year-old.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be a pilot when I grow up\u2026because it\u2019s a fun job and easy to do. That\u2019s why there are so many pilots flying today. Pilots don\u2019t need much school. They must learn numbers so they can read instruments. Pilots should be brave so that they won\u2019t be scared if it\u2019s foggy and they can\u2019t see or if a wing or motor falls off they should stay calm so they\u2019ll know what to do. Pilots have to have good eyes to see through clouds and they can\u2019t be afraid of lightning or thunder because they\u2019re closer to them than we are. <\/em><\/p>\n

The salary pilots make is another thing I like. They make more money than they can spend. This is because most people think plane flying is dangerous except pilots don\u2019t, because they know how easy it is. There isn\u2019t much I don\u2019t like, except girls like pilots and all the stewardesses want to marry pilots so they always have to chase them away so they don\u2019t bother them. I hope I don\u2019t get air sick because I get car sick and if I get air sick I couldn\u2019t be a pilot. Then I\u2019d have to go to work.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
